Delonghi 6-Slice Toaster Oven - Stainless Steel

Closeouts. Countertop cooking has never been so convenient! Delonghi's 6-Slice toaster oven has a large enough capacity to cook a 12" pizza, and can also be used to bake, broil, slow bake and keep warm in addition to its toasting capability.

I use this toaster oven in the lunch room at work, so it needs to be durable. So far, it seems adaquately up to the task. It may heat a little slower than the one I replaced, but I would still recommend it to a friend.

I've always had a toaster oven and can't imagine being without one. This one was deeper than my old 1980's model, so it had to take up a corner on the counter to keep from sticking out really far. But it looks amazing in the kitchen. If you're only making toast, this might not be the appliance for you. It's not the fastest (since the elements are further from your bread as in an oven) but it makes fairly evenly browned toast. If you like to reheat your pizza, stick it right on the rack and turn the timer to medium- temperature at about 350. You still get that crispy crust and melted cheese. I also use it for my 5 year old's fish sticks. I haven't tried it for precise baking, so I don't know how accurate the temperature settings are, but I love how quickly it heats up without overheating my kitchen. It's easy to clean, and I've had no problems with it in the year that I've had it.
    • Best Uses: Crispy Quick Foods 4 Kids, Reheating foods, Toast
    • Cons: Not The Fastest For Toast, Wish The Timer Was In Min
    • Pros: Broil Bake Or Toast, Easy to use, Looks great, Preheats Pizza Perfectly

Keeps use of large oven at a minimum. Matches stainless steel appliances well. Kitchen is uniform.

My first toaster oven & I love the convenience. This one is attractive & has a small footprint. All the knobs are made of plastic, "turn loosely" & the temp knob is not precise. I will need to calibrate the actual temp. if I bake again but toasting & quick heating work fine.
