Built-in microFUSE chamois pad is made to contour to a woman’s shape, wick moisture and provide extra cushion.

    Great fit... love the length of the shorts, good padding, waist a little lax but good. They are a tab sheer in the back but I think I'll keep them.

    I love these shorts! The Descente chamois is firm and not too thick. The length is perfect, and I like the slightly lower waistline. The compression is just right. I read the other reviews about the leg band being too loose, but found that I like that. I guess my thighs are thick enough that the band isn't too loose. It definitely is looser than any other shorts I have owned . . . they usually have a really tight band and give the "sausage leg" look. These don't do that. The other thing that is nice about these shorts is that the silicone grippers on the leg band allows you to fold the band up, making the shorts an inch or so shorter.

    So excited to have finally gotten a pair of these! They get 4 stars vs 5, only because I miss the original Phantom chamois, Stealth Chamois took three wearings, and two washings to, break in to provides me with hours of comfort. Waist and leg openings are wonderful, no elastic means no "muffin top" or "sausage leg"; compression and Resistex Carbon keep muscles feeling strong, and I love the open mesh panels along outside of legs helps keep me cool in these 80-100+ temps especially now that I have to factor in humidity over 35%. The pocket on the back is great for my MP3, cash, or Gu- though I have lost more than one lip balm when making a bathroom break and am considering adding a snap for future security. Otherwise these are pretty darn perfect.

    I wore these shorts for 6 Gap, 100 mile in mountains and had huge cuts and chafing. Terrible padding I do not recommend these at all.

    I love the few items I have by this company so when I found the shorts I was excited. Well they are a disappointment. The legs fit great and the waist is way to big. I'm having to pull them up all the time. I expected something a little heavier too. They are very light weight which isn't bad but I don't think the material will hold up all that much to normal wear and tear.
