My son has only tried it on but quality seems great. He is 7. Bought the size 10 - just a little big. So runs small. Nice color (red/blue). Should be a great ski season!

This seems like a very functional ski jacket, but my son prefers a ski bib instead of the low cut ski pants because he still has falls where snow will get in if he wears the pants. The bulk of the bib made this jacket just a smidge too constricting in the abdomen. It would be fine with ski pants or if your kid is a slim fit with bibs. Seems like the jacket is cut for a tall, slim fit kid.

I ordered this jacket a size up as suggested in other reviews. I do believe the fit was good because I did this. However, there was absolutely no insulation or thickness that would provide warmth or make this a winter/ski jacket for the weather we experience in northern Michigan. The construction appeared to be quality, except for a weird tucked seam (not visible from the outside) inside the sleeves three inches above the wrist.

Make no mistake, this is a very nice coat. The materials and fit/finish really look and feel nice. It's just one of those coats where you can immediately tell that it's nice and well made. However, PLEASE do yourself a favor and listen to the other reviews that suggest buying one size up. My boy wears a 7 or 8 in virtually every piece of clothing. We bought a size 10 in this coat and it fits perfectly.

Otherwise nice jacket with a strange (small) cut. My son is outgrowing his current size 12 ski jacket, so I ordered a 14. It was smaller than his current 12 so needed to be exchanged.

I ordered this jacket in a size 8 for my 7 year old. The construction looked excellent as did the material, but compared to the size 6 he's just growing out of, the arms were 1" shorter and the waist was 1-2" shorter. They were also shorter than an Obermyer in a 6 that I ordered for my 5 year old. I didn't have him try it on, I just sent it back. Maybe if your kid has short arms and a short torso you'd be OK.
