This jacket is more like a shell with some insulation than it is an insulated jacket. And that's fine with me. It's a good looking jacket that seems to be well constructed with quality materials. There's plenty of room for layering, but it's not baggy; it fits well. The pockets are plenty deep and hold gloves without a bulge. The zipper is not two-way, though, which is too bad. And the ample hood doesn't fold away. It does fit easily over a helmet, but the draw strings are difficult to adjust. For what I paid, it's ***** but if you're paying anywhere near half-price, beware of the draw backs. In any case, I can't wait to try it on the slopes.
