This jacket is truly incredible. I took it out for its first ride today in temps in the low 30s with just a medium weight fleecy poly-pro insulating layer underneath it. I was skeptical that it would keep me warm enough but I was definitely wrong about that! The first thing I noticed was that it kept the wind out without flapping around like my other jackets. So that of course means that 15 minutes into the ride I'll be soaked in my own sweat, right? Wrong! Somehow this "Aqualibrium" thing really works. Hats off to Descente! As others have noted, the jackets are fit rather snug. I wasn't sure the medium would do it for me and if I had any more than a 32 inch waist it probably would have been too small.

Although I would primarily use this jacket for cycling, I am also a runner and would use this jacket for running in wet weather. It may be a bit small, however, I am fairly thin so it does fit. You really can't wear layers under it, however. I do have long arms, and the sleeves fit perfectly. The music player pocket is quite nice, as is the non-slip grip on the bottom hem.

I use this jacket as my high vis top when Running or cycling. It is awesome...but be sure to order a full size larger than you are used to. I really enjoy it and use it all the time.

I wear for bike commuting purposes and this jacket is an outstanding one, mostly. While very comfortable (the fit is trim, for sure - if you are not in good shape this is not the jacket for you), it offers nothing in terms of water resistance. It's literally like wearing a sponge, unfortunately. If you live where precipitation isn't a threat, then this is a great jacket at a great price. Otherwise, I'd recommend a truly weatherproof jacket.

A nice cool weather jacket. The fit is snug - I guess it would be called a "racing fit". I am 5'10", 160lbs. I wear a 40reg blazer, and 15/33 or 34 shirt. I ordered the medium. The sleeves are plenty long and there is just enough room in the shoulders. The torso fit is snug - not much extra material. It feels great on the bike. If you are looking for a loose fitting jacket, that you might also grab to run an errand - this is not it. This is a cycling jacket, with no extra material to flap in the breeze while you ride.

I use this cycling jacket as an outer layer when temperature is 30-50 F. I often wear medium, but I wisely sized up with this one, and that allows for layering underneath. The fit is trim but not tight, and the extra sleeve length is perfect on the hoods or drops. No wind gets in at all. No water either, but I used this on a misty ride only--no downpours yet.

Bought this for commuting, but it is simply cut too narrow. It's a great jacket, and I wish it worked, but it really is a size too small.

I use this jacket when commuting to work or just road racing. It's a warm jacket for cold, windy or rainy days. In 40 degree weather I only need a baselayer underneath it. At 6'2" and 180 lbs size L fits me perfectly.
