Descente Prologue Cycling Shorts (For Women)

This is my first pair of bike shorts but after trying on a dozen pair, the Descente shorts are the winners! Comfortable padding that protects while I'm riding but also allows me to walk like a normal person when I get off the bike. The fabric is lightweight but supportive and the leg grips are perfect for me. I really like them.

The overly curvaceous cut of the side seam exaggerates ones hips because there is white seam stiching. A more linear cut would have been more flattering but they are comfortable, well made otherwise a good value.

I do some road but mostly intermediate to advance spin classes 2-3 times a week and the shorts work great!

These shorts are very comfortable. There is the right amount of padding and although the material is thinner than my other shorts, it feels really good. These shorts are a really good value.

Really very padded, but confortable

These shorts are from 2007 so waist is quite high and feels tight. Tightness is also in the leg openings. That is where my complaints end. Once I'm on the bike I literally forget I have them on. All I feel is comfortable. The padding isn't too thick or too thin, I feel the saddle, but it's as a footprint not something unpleasant. The longer length means I get great support for my muscles as well as protection. Moisture wicks away from my skin. And for the price, you could afford to have these as a back up if they don't end up favorites like they are for me.
