The shorts do have a small internal key pocket that can fit a small ipod, but it would be great to have additional pockets. I don't see these as biking shorts because there is no padding, but they are a bit longer then traditional running shorts so that might work.

This pair of shorts fit very nicely. Lower rise, nice fit, A loose fitting leg. I liked them so much I bought another pair. The quality is outstanding.
