    These are very lightweight, breathable shorts with a nice, somewhat loose fit through the seat. Unfortunately, the waist could use a drawstring or additional elastic; while they're not overly loose, they do feel as though they would slide if I were doing anything high-impact (i.e. jogging.) For comparison, I ordered a medium and my hips/waist measure 38 1/2"/31".

    These are great running shorts! They are sooo comfortable, if I could only wear them all the time! So far I've worn these when I hiked to the beach & on my daily run. They've been wonderful for both. They just need more colors!

    I purchased these shorts as a filler item for an order in order to use a coupon code. Boy, am I glad that I did! This is a very nicely constructed short, and though I ordered the "medium" (I am a street clothes size 5-6), I probably could've gotten away with a size "small" if I was comfortable with a more clingy fit. The "medium" still is comfortable and not too loose, however. I would definitely purchase this item again, and it will be one pair of shorts I plan on taking with me on trips since it will pack so compactly and will dry quickly if I hand-launder.

    These are very short and lightweight, which works out fine for my Tae Bo sessions in the basement. Wear less, wash less, I always say. But I wouldn't show up at the gym in them.
