Descente Spirit Cycling Shorts (For Women)

I have always had trouble finding a pair of shorts that continues to be comfortable after 40+ miles.. ive tried differnt saddles and an array of shorts and now i have found my perfect short. After the first ride with them i bought a second pair. THe chamious is thick but forms to your body so you dont feel like your wearing a diaper. Would recommend to anyone lookig for a good quality pair of shorts that are perfect for any distance. Would order one size up though. I am 5 ft 1 and 102 #'s and normally wear xs/ size 0 and order a small and they fit perfect.

These shorts were just ok. The fabric was very thin and with the white color a little too revealing. They seem to run a little on the small side too. The pad seemed descent, but the fit and fabric were just not right.

Love these shorts; the chamois is really comfortable! As other reviewers have stated, the shorts run small. I normally wear a small, even in my other Descente shorts, and can barely fit the Medium. I would have ordered a Large and that probably would have been a better fit, but there weren't any left. I can live with a little extra compression though--the shorts are very well-made and there are no uncomfortable seams. The white fabric is fairly sturdy and opaque as far as white goes but it's still more revealing than any other color would be. As someone who is more concerned with how shorts feel on the saddle than fashion, these are definitely my new favorites. Just be sure to order at least one size up!

This is my second pair. I bought the first in a small, which were tiny, but worked. This time I bought a medium. They fit more true to size. These are the best shorts ever. Now I want the blue also!

I went back and bought this as a second pair. I like the act that the waiste and legs do not bind

these run ridiculously small!!! i am a size 4 in street clothes and have to wear and XL to be comfortable. in order for my to wear the Large i also have, i'll have to be size 2 if that tells you how tiny they are. other than that tho, they are great, functional great padding and very cute and flattering

Too small!....I was sooo disappointed![...] I always ordered in S!...well, I would have kept it, it was really nice :(

These shorts are perfect for mountain biking. The padding is awesome. They run a little small so order one size up.

I bought these in anticipation of doing a 30 mile bike ride. While the padding was great and would be good for a long ride, the waist on the shorts was way too low -- about 3" below my natural waistline. As a result, these would have been very uncomfortable on the ride so I wound up returning them. If you like low-waisted garments, these are the shorts for you.
