I have a tendency to react poorly to silicone (it causes blisters on my skin after extended wearing), so I was very excited to find a pair of bike shorts that did not have silicone at the leg opening. The banding that is at the bottom of the opening still keeps the leg in place. When I first put the shorts on, the padding did feel a bit bulky, but it was perfect once I got on my bike and actually rode in them. I am a curvy girl and the fit worked out really well for me. I do primarily mountain bike with an occassional paved trail ride.

Good product, would like the waist to be a little tighter or elastic more snug

My wife loves these shorts--she rides a road bike, generally 15-30 mile rides, and she has proclaimed that these are the best shorts she has ever worn. She likes the legs of cyling shorts to be on the short side, so these are a touch longer than she prefers, but it's a minor issue. She also loves the pink panels on the back--a nice touch. While the pad seemed strange upon first inspection, and feels a bit too stiff when first worn off the bike, she happily reports that, once on the bike, it provides excellent cushioning, causes no chafing, and nearly dissapears, which is good.

These tend to be on the small side. The chamois is awesome - I wouldn't call it "minimal," but it does not feel like wearing a diaper and the surface is smooth. Waist hits lower than a lot of cycling shorts. Love the wide waist and leg bands, totally non-constricting. The seam on the lower leg has started to unravel though - hope I can fix it because these are my favorite shorts right now.

These shorts were well made and had a great pad, but were super small. I even ordered up a size and could hardly get a leg in. If they had another size up I would have exchanged them. Definately disappointed they didn't fit.
