“These are well-built gloves that offer versatility - they include a mitten hood that can be tucked into a pouch on the back of the hand, or drawn over the fingers in colder temps. The material between the fingers is thinner and not wind-proof, which I though at first was strange. But I realized it offers more flexibility in temp regulation: as you warm up, you can pull off the mitten hood, and allow fingers to breathe some, so you can still keep hands warm, but not overheated, if you choose. Great feature.”
