Reviewed by Charley from California on Sunday, October 2, 2016After gently opening and closing this bag through normal use a total of about five times over the span of a few weeks, the two rows of zipper teeth completely separated out from the zipper pull-tab thing ... rendering the bag permanently OPEN, completely un-closeable, and totally USELESS. Thanks a lot STP for your lousy new return policy where anything remotely "used" or with the tags cut off can no longer be returned. At least I only flushed about $10 down the toilet on this crummy piece of junk. But I'll definitely think twice about buying anything from STP in the future, knowing that they won't stand behind defective crud merchandise that falls apart in under month.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by B-cubed from Pitsburgh on Wednesday, August 31, 2016I bought this to carry my U-lock. But in addition to holding that, I stuffed a baseball hat, small ID wallet, t-shirt, snacks, and my bike electronics (light, computer, etc.). I was really amazed at how much stuff it holds. The design works really well on my road bike's handlebars and it looks really nice, too. The bag seems well built and I am looking forward to riding with it for many years.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mary Alipius from city on Tuesday, August 30, 2016I tried a few paniers before settling on this. Really i bought it because the price ($25) was right, but I actually like it quite a bit. the attachment system works well- though there is no bottom attachment to protect agains "bounce off" the hooks fully surround the bar of the bike rack and seem to latch on well. I have used it all week on a 5mile commute over some serious potholes and all good so far. It does sit higher than I prefer (it sticks up about 6 inches above my rack) and it takes some fanangaling to put on and off my rack (but that is because I have a super narrow rack and some of the rack hardware gets in the way- not a problem I think most people will have!)
I fit my old 17inch laptop, a three ring binder, two 20oz drinking vessels, and a change of shirt in here no problem.
It is stiff- in a good way. It holds it's own shape and will likely never flop into the spokes! The tradeoff for this is it feels kind of heavy even when empty.
Another thing i like about it is that it looks totally normal when I'm carrying it around at work, not like I'm about to leave on a bike tour straight from the office.
The neoprene sleeve for the laptop is pretty lame though- if that is selling point for you don't get your hopes up too high.
