great looking bag, keeps dry inside but not enough outside pockets for the smaller things you need quickly.

These bags are large and relatively light for their size. I bought them for multi-day touring and it appears that they are specifically designed for that. The roll-up "dry bag" style is waterproof but does not lend itself to convenient access. Items you want close at hand will have to go into a handlebar bag.

You have to roll the top and snap nylon strap to hold the top which acts like a water proof lid. There are no outside pickets. Loading takes longer than a zipper or fold over top but the capacity is the largest I've seen and the bags seem to be stong and water tight.

Good-looking bags that attach easily but securely to a rack. The roll-top and compression straps seal the bag well but make for quick and easy access.

I use these panniers for commuting (about 32 miles a day)and occasional long tour. I have only been using them for the last two weeks which has not been raining. Hope they do well when the Portland rain returns. I was using my wife's Ortlieb heavy duty panniers and now I have my own to wear-out. I can say these new panniers look nice and seem well built.
