This item is true to size. I really liked this robe but my one complaint is the drawstring. It is way too long. I found that it dragged close to my legs and was so long it kept swinging. Other than the that, it is a nice robe. Definitely not for after a shower but its great on a cold night. Its short so it makes its kinda sexy but the print kinda cancels that out. I would love for this item to come in a different print.

This robe is beautiful and functional. I love having a zippered front for a quick cover up, and it has a cute steering wheel pull, too. The belt is attached, so I don't have to search for it. The pockets are usefull, too. It feels very luxurious. I love it.

I'm 5'8", 140#'s, busty, slender hips, an "apple". I got this in medium and it fits well, slightly loose like a robe should and hits just above my knees. The material is light but heavier than say a nightgown and drapes. It does not absorb water. Its not a big, bulky spa robe to snuggle in after getting out of bath. Its more of a dressing robe. The on seam pockets are adequate but not quite deep enough for me. There is a pull thru matching cord to cinch the waist for a more feminine look. I use this robe mostly for dressing, lounging, and even sleeping but its nice enough looking to walk your dogs or go pool side. That's when the hood comes in handy. The fabric has a nautical theme and if you lived on a yacht, this would be the only garment you ever needed! I've worn and washed it for over a year now and it has held up well, zipper still works fine, the waist cinch is still in place. If it came in more neutral colors/patterns I would have several hanging in my wardrobe. I've gotten my money's worth out of it, would recommend it but I'm still looking for THE perfect robe...

I loved everything about this robe except the length so I had to send it back. It was way too short and revealing for me. The material felt incredible, I liked the unusual pattern. If only it had been 6 inches longer!

I wasn't sure about this when it arrived. The colors are bold, but attractive. The robe seems well made and best of all, it hangs in a very flatering way. I think this would be great for traveling/hotel and lounging. It is not a great water absorbant material (after showering/hot tub/ etc.). I'm short (5'2") and it falls just above my knees.
