“The towels are pretty, but wierdly waterproof, that is, water just beads up on the surface. This effect has lasted through several uses/washings, so I think it is inherent in the weave of the cloth and not some strange coating on the material. It is hard to use a kitchen towel that won't absorb water well! But they are pretty.”
