    These are large and bright. I've had them a few months and they haven't faded much at all. I wonder if the cotton is treated or if a blend was used because they just don't seem as absorbant as they should be.

    The towels are pretty, but wierdly waterproof, that is, water just beads up on the surface. This effect has lasted through several uses/washings, so I think it is inherent in the weave of the cloth and not some strange coating on the material. It is hard to use a kitchen towel that won't absorb water well! But they are pretty.
