The packaging for the item was much nicer than the item. It was packed in a very secure shipping box with incredible padding. The bowls are very poorly made and should not be used for food preparation. The glaze was flaking off on the small bowl and big patches were missing. This is dangerous and could result in glass in your food. In an item this poorly made of low fire earthenware I would also be suspicious of toxicity of the bright colored glazes. Unless you have a use for these that does not involve handling them in any way they are a sad waste of the earth's resources.
