“DMT = poor fit”

“I've had a small DMT MTB shoe fitting disaster. I take a 44 in every road or MTB shoe I've ever tried, except this one. I originally ordered a pair of the Vector model at 44. The left shoe fit spot-on, the right shoe was too small by a half-European size. I then ordered a pair of the Legends at 44.5, as the size was not available in the Vector model. They are sized differently than the Vectors. The right shoe was a little too big, and I was swimming in the left one. The ratcheting strap is too "high" on the Legend, impinging upon the top of the ankle. The whole set-up was a mess for me. Given the problems with 2 sets of shoes, I didn't bother with an exchange for the Legend in 44, but returned them for a refund. (I've been wearing clipless road and MTB shoes since 1989; these are the worst fitting shoes I've ever tried.)”
