DMT Legend MTB Cycling Shoes - SPD (For Men)

These were a gift for my husband. I'm the avid cyclist but when he joins me on some Sunday rides, he likes to have decent equipment. These shoes are perfect! STP price can not be beat!

I expected a lot more out of these for the price. I'm surprised they can get away with an almost entirely plastic/rubber shoe at the [$] mark. Maybe if the sole was carbon I would have felt like I got a good deal, but I just couldn't be happy with the feel of these. Maybe it's a personal opinion, and others may love these but they weren't for me.

Shoe is well ventilated and seems to be well constructed. The fasteners are a bit weak however- the instructions even tell you how to replace them. I don't think they were made for wet conditions either. The instructions also tell you to clean with a damp cloth and if soaked, dry by inserting paper towels into the toes.

Great shoes! I got these for my boyfriend and he loves them! Super comfortable and great fit. Seem to be durable.

I've had a small DMT MTB shoe fitting disaster. I take a 44 in every road or MTB shoe I've ever tried, except this one. I originally ordered a pair of the Vector model at 44. The left shoe fit spot-on, the right shoe was too small by a half-European size. I then ordered a pair of the Legends at 44.5, as the size was not available in the Vector model. They are sized differently than the Vectors. The right shoe was a little too big, and I was swimming in the left one. The ratcheting strap is too "high" on the Legend, impinging upon the top of the ankle. The whole set-up was a mess for me. Given the problems with 2 sets of shoes, I didn't bother with an exchange for the Legend in 44, but returned them for a refund. (I've been wearing clipless road and MTB shoes since 1989; these are the worst fitting shoes I've ever tried.)

I prefer to use high performance MTB shoes for endurance training on my ATB. Having used DMT road shoes previously, I decided to give the MTB's a try. During the break in period, had to wear in cold weather, with warm socks and with / without shoe covers. These DMT Legends are probably some of the most comfortable and well performing shoes that I've used under these conditions. In my opinion, If you can find DMT'S, try a pair! Excellent shoe and they look good to!

They seem fine. Not much chance to use them yet.

These are really nice. Had to return them because they were a bit too narrow for me....wish I could have kept them.
