DMT Ultimax Spirit Road Cycling Shoes - 3 Hole (For Men)

Shoe was at least 1/2 size too small, ended up mailing them back

I just got theses shoes and haven't as yet been riding much. However, they feel good on my feet and light. I'm converting from toe clips to clipless and my isses are more with the pedals than the shoes. i can't wait to do more riding to see how much better the performance is going to be. I love the ratchet connection and hope it holds up well.

This is 2nd pair of DMT and they fit me well with no breakin needed and are true to size and pletny stiff. I weigh 228 lbs and use them for TT and Crits as well as everyday rides. Like the entry to put them on and the ratchet strap to tighten during rides. Seems well vented but it is winter now so cannot tell. I do replace soles with other ones for better support. THese worked well with my Speedplay pedals too. My other pair separated at the heel from sole to leather...hope these don't, but too early to tell. Good value overall!

Great cycling shoe; my first and very lucky the fit was perfect. Only problem is the heel is coming off in the back after two seasons of use.

I have pair of '04 53x11 Ultimax. I average hundred miles a week. The Spirit are exactly the same but the sole is not carbon fiber but just as stiff. They are half the price and I'm just as happy. The toe area is slighty wider. I feel a little bit of pressure on the bottom of my right shoe in the toe area. Overall I forget that I'm wearing bike shoes until I get off.

I size a 10.5 or 44.5, I already had this shoe in a 45. Put an insole insert in to take up a bit of volume, and it fits perfect (Superfeet road bike insole helps too) - so if they don't have your 1/2 size, perhaps an insole would work for you too. Shoes are well built and can take a good beating, good tech items, etc. That being said...I bought 2 pair, which should keep me rolling for several years to come ! Buy 'em.
