Bought this as a gift for the neighbor, next year will be his second hunt. Can't wait to see his results. This year he out-hunted my husband and he is eager to use this knife after watching the DVD.

I cleaned 4 deer with it before it needed sharpining. Now with the round file I can't get the angle right to get it sharp again, may be just my sharpening skills. Also the case could have a holder for the file. I know it's just a matter of time before the file is lost.

I used this knife to dress a white-tail. The knife performs well in gutting and splitting the chest cavity, but did not perform as well as the video describes in splitting the pelvic bones. I used shears for this, as I normally do. The knife could not deal with the thick bone mass. The gut hook and cutting tip worked well and I would use this as one of the tools, not all to dress big game.

I bought this for my fiance' who is a whitetail fanatic. He really liked the weight and size of the BuckBuster- although I was not expecting it to be as large as it is. It's size prohibits you to be able to carry it in a front pocket, but will fit in a deep back pocket or a hunting bag, and it's easy to find. It makes Field Dressing a breeze! The round gut hook acts like a zipper, so smooth and WILL NOT puncture the guts! And the lower blade is GREAT for breaking bones to get to those hard to reach places & the "sweet meat"! The only con he could possibly see and commented on was that since the two blades were so close to each other, he thought it may be difficult to sharpen the lower blade. This product does come SHARP! So be careful when you are handling it. Happy Hunting!

I bought this for my father for christmas, he is a avid hunter who has everything, when I found this I had never seen anything like it! And the price was great too!!

[...] Button on sheath does not snap closed, its too short on leather. It is very heavy and can not imagine how some one could field dress a deer with this. Not happy I am returing this item.

Breaking the Pelvis is as tough as the DVD suggests. Great buy; not a gimmicky gadget. I used it 1 day after arrival, dressed two does very quickly and easily. Watch the tip blade, it is sharp despite how it looks.
