I bought this for my daughter to wear on swim team. It fits great and stays on while she swims. I even bought her another!

I normally wear size 20, but this size 24 was too small all over - might fit 18 snugly, 16 comfortably. I'm disappointed, because it is a very nice suit otherwise.

I'm in the pool 3 times a week and just ordered more of these suits. They hold up well with the chlorine and are very comfortable. I usually order long torso suits, but this fits fine in regular length

I owned this model and used it for lap practice swimming. I like the conservative cut leg. I also like the cup support which doesn't hinder in the water. I now own 3 of them.

  • Question “I have a long torso and wonder if this suit would work for me. I normally have to buy a brand of suit particularly made for a long torso. Thank you.”
Asked on 11/11/2012 12:00:00 AM by GrannyJules from Los Alamos, NM
    • Answer This swimsuit is not sized as long. On a size 14 the overall length from top of strap to crotch is 27" unstretched.

  • Question “What is the fabric of this suit? Says lining is polyester, nothing about suit.”
Asked on 7/15/2011 12:00:00 AM by Lulu from Southern Ohio
    • Answer The suit is 80% nylon and 20% spandex.
Answered on 7/25/2011 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer I think it is 100% polyester. It doesn't feel as slick as nylon usually does. It fits me really well and has good stretch. I love that it doesn't "ride up" and you don't have to be pulling the crotch back down all the time like my Speedo suits seem to be prone to do.

Fitness/performance suits run a bit different than fashion suits.|Even went to a sporting goods store to try on the brand I ordered-that was the most helpful thing for myself, hadn't bought a new swimsuit in a few years, find that fashion suits don't last for lap swimming. • Question “If I wear a 40DD and size 16 pants, what size in this suit would be recommended?”
Asked on 11/24/2010 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer I would recommend a size 20. Please refer to the following link and look at the Aquashape sizing: http://www.dolfinswimwear.com/Dolfin/sizechart.html
Answered on 11/30/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer A size 20 would fit. I am a 42C and size 18 pant and the size 20 is tight at my waist and rear but has room for a larger bust size. This suit is kind of like wearing a light weight girdle. It holds but does not restrict.
Answered on 1/1/2011 12:00:00 AM by Judi from Portland, Oregon
    • Answer I'd go for a size 18.
Answered on 1/12/2011 12:00:00 AM by Moonpie from Little Rock, AR
    • Answer If you wear a 16W, a 20 will fit. If you wear a 16 in Misses, I'd go with the next size down.
