I liked the first pair in black so much, I ordered another pair in tan and one more in black as a back-up. As another reviewer mentioned, this style is a great combination of a slip-on sneaker and a somewhat dressier shoe. The toe bed is slightly tight in the same spots on all three pair, but it's woven leather, so it will stretch when broken in. I used a shoe stretcher.

I purchased these based on other reviewers' comments and agree with most of what has already been said. However, I do find the toe area to be slightly on the tight side. I normally wear white cotton athletic socks with casual slip-ons, but these require me to wear my thin business socks. A black and white small herringbone pattern goes well with the black shoes. And, of course, a great value when purchased here.

These look fantastic, I got them in black, size was spec-on. Comfortable. What I like about DJP is their innovative style. This particular shoe reminds me of the canvas Vans low slip-ons with the checkered pattern across the front. Except take that design a notch up with braided leather, and you have something you can wear almost anywhere, a fancier casual sneaker. My only gripe is that over time the white souls will dull, maybe this time I will make an effort to clean them. Well-built, tight stitching and a great looking shoe/sneaker, good support for a slip-on. You're paying for style, basically, and in my opinion they look sharp.
