Donna Ricco New York Wrap Dress - Silk Charmeuse, Long Sleeve (For Women)

I wore this out to dinner over the holidays. I felt the color was perfect. It's not really MY color - Coke bottle green - but I thought I could pull it off over the holidays (if you are a red-head, do the world a favor and wear this dress; you will be a stunner in it). The side zipper made it a tight fit, but not at all uncomfortable. There is a tiny snap under the left breast to keep the "wrap" wrapped. Very necessary snap. Unfortunately, we went to a movie after dinner and in slouching in my seat, that snap came undone. I was wearing a lacy black slip underneath so it wasn't the end of the world, but in future I will watch my posture in this dress! I like the fact that the dress gives you a narrow waist and that very few other people will be showing up in this lovely green color.

The color is gorgeous, more of a jewel tone that is very rich. The pockets are a great feature. It was just way too big in the bust for me. And there was no way to disguise it. I sadly sent it back.

I am to be the Mother of the Bride at a Chrismastime wedding and thought I would take the off chance that Sierra would have a dress (day wedding) and was I surprised when I got the dress. I took the advice of others and ordered one size larger. The dress is stunning and what a bargain. A perfect fit! Hint: There is a side zipper which makes it much easier to put on.

I took the advice of other reviews and ordered a size up. The dress does run small in the bust. The color is just gorgeous, and the silk feels luscious against my skin.

based on comments here I ordered a size 6. I am normally a size 4 on top and size 6 on bottom. what I found is that this dress is snug around the lower ribs but too big for me in the bust and shoulders. I'm going to try the size 4 with the hopes that the rib cage isn't too small but may be better to get the size 6 altered. If you are sharply hourglass shaped then this dress may fit you well.

Love this dress!!! I don't like showing too much of my red-head freckled skin, even though I'm not overweight or anything. I'm using this dress for family Christmas pictures, it's going to be a perfect contrast to my daughter's bold but cool red and black dress! I'm normally a size 6 and the size 8 I bought fits great. I would have liked it too be thicker and more lining, for the price. But compared to all the other green dresses out there right now, this one tops. I spent 4 hours shopping at the mall and couldn't find anything that came close!

Gorgeous color. Appropriate for work-related holiday events where you don't want to show too much skin. Flattering fit, although you should order up one size as the top thru chest and shoulders runs tight. I usually wear a 4-6 in tops & jackets, am 34 C-, and this felt very constraining in a size 6.
