Donna Ricco Stretch Taffeta Dress with Rhinestone Buttons - ¾ Sleeve (For Women)

Too much polyester to pull off in one outfit. Plastic rhinestones aside. Definitely need a waist for the style. Not a keeper in my opinion, it might be an inexpensive alternative for an event that you want to look good but don't want to spend much and don't care if you wear again, more costume than dress. The lines and cute flouncy slip are classic style.

I was really excited about getting this dress with all the positive comments written about it. When I tried it on, it just looked too frumpy, faddy-duddy and plain unflattering. Strange how the white top and dark bottom made me feel like a big bottomed girl (and I am NOT). Too bad...

This is a beautifully flattering dress, especially accenting the waistline and hiding any hip/thigh irregularities. Beautifully made and a great Donna Ricco classic.

i wore this today for my daughter's bat mitzvah. i received so many compliments and it was very flattering. the neckline is a bit low-cut for my taste, but it was not too revealing. i also really like the hidden pockets to keep my lipstick etc. in during the party. very well made and lovely dress. i hope i have another occasion to wear this!

The dress runs true to size. I ordered a size up because of the recommendation from STP and had to return and reorder. Even went a size below what I would have due to availability. It fit. So don't go up a size. The workmanship and material are first rate except for the buttons. They look fine but one came off in my hand when I went to unbutton it to try it on. Best to reinforce them before wearing. Being a short person I found that this dress should be sized as a petite. The torso was just about long enough for me and I am 5'2". Another plus is that this dress will look good with a shoe that has a short heel.

Originally ordered a 10, then had to exchange it for a 6, which fit. So I don't agree with the sizing recommendation from STP to go up one size. I am 5'2" and found that this dress seems to be made for short people. If you have a long torso you are out of luck. The stretch in the fabric for the bodice allows you to move without opening a seam. The pleated bottom hides any bulges you don't want seen. Personally, I didn't find the rhinestone buttons to be tacky but I did have to immediately reiforce them as one button came off before I even put it on. Get it now while they have more sizes available.

Pretty dress, a bit on the small size since I though by going up a size I'd have some wiggle room. The white is not a true white and wouldn't work for me. I too might have replaced the buttons with pearl ones, if I had kept the dress!

I love this dress. It is extremely flattering on shapely women. Comfortable as well. The only thing I didn't like and it was easily fixed were the rhinestone buttons. They looked cheap. I replaced them with pearl buttons and it looks much better. The bust is a bit low so you have to watch what type of bra you wear.
