I ordered these for my boyfriend (along with 3 other brands); he loved them all--but these? He didn't want to take them off! Very macho-looking boots (not soft--may need breaking in). I needed to replace a pair of elephant hide western boots that had worn like iron but needed to go. Out of the box these were visually better than what I had expected and when I put them on they blew me away! Exceptionally comfortable, fit was just right and they looked awesome with jeans. The soles look to be very durable, probably made for some chores around the ranch, and have an impressive slip resistant bottom. Not your normal leather sole that's for sure. I would have preferred that the entire heel counter also be wrapped in Caiman rather than the smooth leather but horse riders would probably prefer the leather since it will hold up better in spurs.

Excellant high traction sole, comfortable D width as I often wear an EE. I would prefer a single hide for the vamp but the stitching has a wing tip look and it works. A very nice boot. The color is a flat earth brown with a slightly soft finish. It wears well and does not show dirt.
I bought a Tardini caiman/croc brown belt from STP and than hit these boots with Meltonian no. 12 red mahagony shoe cream. Now I have a perfectly matched croc boot/belt combo.
