“Good, solid work boot”

“Good everyday work boot, whether 'work' means 'business casual' or something that happens on actual dirt. They're nice looking,and I get compliments on them pretty regularly. They are little chunky, though, owing to the comfort features. The Ice soles are really good on a slick surface, too... Only a couple of minor imperfections. One is that the color isn't quite as good a match (left & right) as you'd expect from a DRESS boot; if you're real picky about it, there's just a half a shade difference between the two. But these are WORK boots... Second, they're not as breathable as my 'old school', leather-soled boots. And last - and I think this was a freak thing - the stacked portion on one of the heels somehow developed a crack, top-to-bottom, so this pair needs to go back.”
