Double H Paddock Boots (For Women)

Good Shoe. Works well with jeans. wanted a pair that would translate well in slushy, rainy situations. Have not had the chance to try it yet in that sort of weather, but the first couple of wears was good, with the exception of a few hotspots (behind the ankle esp). And zipping up initially was somewhat challenging...

These paddock boots are so pretty I didn't want to wear them to the barn. Very comfortable; just a little stiff. A bargain for the price.

I bought this boot because I board my horse at a co-op where I have to feed him and turn him out every morning before work. It would be nice to have a sturdy paddock boot that could also go straight to the office when need be. These boots are elegant enough for the office, but I doubted they would hold up well for mucking and riding. I was especially skeptical about the zipper's ability to hold out against the deep sand the barn's on. I sent them back, still looking. I would recommend these to a rider who mainly stays in the arena and doesn't do her own mucking.

Nice well made boot - bought it for riding, and will end up wearing them for more office/dress boot, or the show ring. Not heavy enough or supple enough to make a good utility riding boot. Really like the zipper feature - makes for an easy on and off.

I wore the boots around the barn the first day then rode in them the second day. Very comfortable, nice leather, good support. I was surprised to see the Grand Prix label on them, they match my Grand Prix half-chaps perfectly.

Yes, you must break these boots in! I haven't had a pair of shoes that needed break in for years (decades!). But, once you break them in, they feel great, breathe very well for a pair of boots, are leather lined, and look good. They clean up really well, and seem like they'll last for years.

Unbeleivably stiff. I'm returning them. I bought them for riding not for walking, but these aren't even comfortable enough to walk at all. They look allright though.

These beautiful boots are made very very well. I wore them around the house for a day, then out running around town a few times to break them in. I haven't had a pair of shoes that needed breaking in for years! They look like they will age well, getting better with use. I love that the lining is leather too!
