“I'm a land surveyor in Vermont. I'm psyched to have found this coat. Today the air temp was 23F and with the wind chill it was about 5F. I was outside for 6 hours, and was not cold at all. The coat is windproof, the hood is great, and down is the very warm and light. I like the coverage below the waist. Lots of easily accessible and well placed pockets. Nice reinforced forearms/elbows, and shoulders. I wouldn't run through the prickers with it, but seems pretty capable of taking a few tree branches. It would get soaked in the rain, but seems good at repeling blowing/falling snow. For [$], one of the best deals ever.”
