Down Parka - 550 Fill Power (For Men)

Minor complaint about the double-slide zipper being awkward to use, but maybe I'm just not used to it.

Absolutely the warmest coat; freezing weather only! PLUSES: collar zips up to warm chin; very nice feature. Great pockets- including cell phone, and vertical chest zip pocket for busfare, keys, etc. Nice big patch pockets for gloves. hand warmer pockets too. Great hood. MINUSES: left-hand zipper, coupled with length of coat and snug hip fit makes it a real pain to zip up while wearing it. This makes me disinclined to unzip to access great inner pockets once I'm in it. I am female and ordered XL so as to have a loose fit, but it is cut very slim, as men's clothes sometimes are. Also, it has velcro instead of snaps as a back-up way to close. I would much have preferred snaps; there's no quick way to button it without the whole zipper rigamarole. It's such a tough, well made coat that I am going to keep it, but this one problem is a shame for such a great coat.

This is my jacket for recess duty--the first truly warm one I've had. Looks good, feels great. An inside breast pocket would be nice but this is a terrific value.

used for trips to the snow. kept me real warm.Only wore T-shirt underneath. Its taking me some time to get used to the left hand zipper. Love this jacket

Seemed great. Great price and when it arrived, it was exactly what I was looking for. HOWEVER, it was way too big (for a size L).

GOOD COAT GREAT COAT

I'm a land surveyor in Vermont. I'm psyched to have found this coat. Today the air temp was 23F and with the wind chill it was about 5F. I was outside for 6 hours, and was not cold at all. The coat is windproof, the hood is great, and down is the very warm and light. I like the coverage below the waist. Lots of easily accessible and well placed pockets. Nice reinforced forearms/elbows, and shoulders. I wouldn't run through the prickers with it, but seems pretty capable of taking a few tree branches. It would get soaked in the rain, but seems good at repeling blowing/falling snow. For [$], one of the best deals ever.

I paid a fraction of the price for this coat as compared to buying other pricey coats on other websites. The coat is durable and beautiful. great for gift giving!!!
