DownTown Paisley Egyptian Cotton Pillowcases - Pair, Queen

I love these pillowcases. You don't really see the tone on tone pattern until after they were washed. The got soft, kind of wrinkly and you could see the pattern. They are very soft and feel like very good quality cotton.

These are soft, with a silky hand to them. The pattern is subtle and gives them an elegantly textured surface. I needed queens for a new pillow, never having had anything other than standard before. They do fit a little snug over it, but okay. I wish that I had ordered a few more sets.

I wanted a fresh pick-me-up in my bedroom after a long and difficult year. I'm no spring chicken, but I've always loved soft pink, and so I thought that bringing these lovely linens into my room would be comforting and fresh. And they are! I got the comforter cover, which is a little too much pink, but the pillow cases are almost a neutral, soft pink that can go with almost any white/off white sheets or comforters. The paisely pattern is very subtle, the fabric silky and soft. I'm please.

Lovely paisley pattern, subtle. I got the pink, wanting just a dash of feminine softness to the room. I ordered the matching pink comforter cover but returned it--too much pink, when the pillowcases themselves add just enough. These are quality, and soft, though not in an 800-thread sort of way. Still, I feel luxurious using them. They're lovely and--again--what a bargain! Thanks, STP!
