Reviewed by chucksvilledotcom from Albuquerque on Sunday, May 12, 2013I am by no means an expert on the subject of sheets but I've worked hard for a living and I've always wanted to purchase a high-quality, 100% Egyptian Cotton set of sheets. To see that these sheets were made in Portugal was a plus because it seems as though just about everything comes from China these days. The sheets fitted my bed well and the moment I slipped into them, I felt I had gone to heaven. They felt wonderful against my skin and they were light as a feather. The only problem with this purchase is that the thread count is incorrect. It is advertised as "400 TC" and, according to the documentation that came with the sheets it is, in reality, 340 Thread Count, which is actually a significant difference. I'm sure that this was just a typo and since I'm happy with the sheets, I don't think it is necessary to pursue this matter any further. However, for those to whom such things make a difference, it is important to note that the actual thread count is 340 and not 400.
