    I thought being Dr Martens they would have the gum soles like the older Dr shoes. These shoes have the same look but a very hard uncomfortable sole. I have had these 3 months now need to use arch supports and cushion insoles to make it through the day wearing these shoes. Other than that they seem to be good quality and lasting well.
