Reviewed by AntsyG from Pacifica, CA on Monday, January 21, 2013I braid paracord and do heavy duty sewing that sometimes requires a hemostat to push the needle through webbing or heavy canvas. Although I bought this holster on impulse because it was really inexpensive, I have found it ideal for taking hemostat, small scissors, and needle and pins (stuck in the ribbon edges of the holster) to a warmer part of the house to work on a project. BTW, the hemostat and small scissors are Dr. Slick brand as well. I don't fish, but I have found Dr. Slick tools helpful in my craft work.

Reviewed by Scotch from Midwest on Monday, January 21, 2013I use it to hold knot-tying tools and my pocket knife, on zingers, in a handy place on my belt and fishing vest and pack (with a velcro patch attachment)to keep those tools handy to me. Just the thing to customize your equipment to your personal needs.

I just throw those two things in my pocket and hit the water. Been stab a few times! This prevents that. It's functional. Doesn't really fit on any of my wading belts, so other than what I need it for can't really say it would be worth purchasing it unless the price was right…it was!
