“I used these scissors to cut egg yarn and tying thread, and they worked perfectly! They are sharp right out of the box, and I like the larger blade size that this pair offers rather than a smaller "typical" fly tying scissors size because it enables me to use different parts of the blade for different applications (e.g., using the middle part of the blade to cut through thick material like yarn or foam, but then with the same scissor being able to use the tip for smaller details like hackle or thread).”
