Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Though not tried in the field, the clamp's side cutter crisply cuts monofilament and sports a hook-eye cleaner. The best feature is the handle. It is very comfortable for my hand (Man's Large glove size). The curved jaws also feels ergonomic when used.
