Dr. Slick Co. Stainless Steel Hair Scissors - 4-½"

These scissors are excellent at cutting on the point. I use them for manicures.

I used these scissors to cut egg yarn and tying thread, and they worked perfectly! They are sharp right out of the box, and I like the larger blade size that this pair offers rather than a smaller "typical" fly tying scissors size because it enables me to use different parts of the blade for different applications (e.g., using the middle part of the blade to cut through thick material like yarn or foam, but then with the same scissor being able to use the tip for smaller details like hackle or thread).

Have a number of Dr. Slick scissors. Will use these in my travel fly tying kit. Can't beat the price.

fabulous scissors. sturdy. fingerholes work great for people beyond those with tiny fingers. great for sewing, crafts, cutting hair. wonderful!!!

These scissors are sharp, fit well in the hand and have functional points for slipping under that really fine thread without damaging the threads around it. This is the second time that I've ordered these, my other pairs were all "borrowed" by friends.

Dr. Slick SS scissors are very well made, hold an "Edge" and allow you to clip tags and hackles very close to the hook shank & eye. I tie hundreds of Salw Water Patterns and pretty much stick with Dr. Slick products espacially scissors. Tarpon Streamers, Crab or Shrimp patters can be tied easier with the right pair of scissors ~ Dr. Slick are the Best in my opinion.

Great small scissors--from cutting thread to trimming my beard-sharp, with sharp points. Bought one pair-such demand around house that bought two more and wonder if that is enough. If you even think you might use-buy them.
