    These are fantastic. I wish I'd ordered this larger size a long time ago. they are incredibly strong and durable. I use them now as a fishing tool and they work great to clamp down all size hooks for debarbing.

    The Dr. Slick clamp does the job. Its an extra hand for tying small flys to very thin tippet material. A thankless job but necessary just the same. The stainless steel seems to be good quality. Time will tell but so far I like it.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    very strong, won't fail as a clamp however the hinge point is too close(1 3/16")from the jaws. A better distance is 1 3/4"-1 7/8". Also the finger/thumb grips are way too big an opening. Watch out for the pin...it's long and sharp.
