Looks great, nice colors, will show dirt. Pleanty of room under arms for wearing a fleece underneath, which you will need. If you are going to be active it is perfect because you could shed inner layer. Has zippers under arms- great for active athletic children! Best uses would be winter hiking, snowboarding, sledding etc.

This is the perfect jacket for my ten-year old. It's a good-looking jacket, and it does it's job of keeping out cold. She is on the small side, but I bought her a large so she'll get at least another season out of it. It's big but not ridiculously big on her. It has features we wanted like lots of zipper pockets and a draw-string at the hem. We are in Florida so the most action it's seen so far was at the iceskating rink, where she got a little too warm in it, so I think it would make a great winter jacket.

My 8 year old loves this coat. The zipper sticks every once in a while, but doesn't seem to be a problem. She's a tall 8 year old, ordered the 10/12 which was a good fit. Thumb holes a plus.

Yes, I'd buy this product again, because I did! This is my daughter's second one, after growing out of the first one. Lots of useful features for skiing.
