    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The hooked side of the velcro adjustment tab on this hat has torn up the mesh, like a cat on a sofa--- the mesh is fraying and has 'runs' in it like a pair of women's pantyhose. Too bad there is not a different closure that doesn't tear up the mesh (which, btw, is not plastic-y like trucker's hats, therefore it is more delicate).

    Love the look of this cap. Embroidery is very nice. Did not like it when the mesh portion snagged on it first wearing. Will only use it for "show" and not out in the field. Mesh is flimsy.

    I read the reviews and purchased without disappointment. Concur with so many others... this is a nice hat. Don't yet know how durable, but feels really nice while wearing... more so than so many canvas ball caps that I own.
