Drop Split Mittens - Waterproof (For Men and Women)

First off, my fingers were frostbitten as a kid so its difficult to keep them warm without hot hands under any temperature less than 15 degrees when I am outside for greater than an hour. So given this these gloves do a nice job, but I still feel cold in my finger tips. Probably not because of the gloves, but because of the historical frostbite. They work well, they feel good, and with the year end discount, I couldn't pass them up. I like th mitten enclosue as added warmth idea.

Just the concept is really cool. Bought them for my girlfriend for snowshoeing and I know she will like them.

I wish they fit better to my hand!

These mittens might have been a great value but, I personally won't abide what I believe is a tight(My prejudice)fit. I ordered and received an XL pair but, I've decided that my hands are claustraphobic. So I can't afford, in this economy, not to send them back for a credit. Thank goodness for STPs' return policy or, I couldn't afford to take a chance on what just 'might' be a great deal. STP helps' to make survival in todays' world just a little more likely.

Great for skiing and outdoor recreational use

Heed the comments that note this item runs small; I am a woman with hands on the small side - I ordered the small and it fits fine. There is no way that this is a man's small. Also, I added zipper pulls to make it easier to open and close the mitten and access the glove (which was the primary reason for buying this model.

My husband really loves these mittens--especially the little gloves that fit inside the larger mitten. The only complaint he had was that they were a little too snug for being a Large (which is what I bought him) but not so snug that they were too uncomfortable for him.

Get a size larger. The inserts are small and the shell is a little bulky. Other than that nice glove.

Bought for husband for next ski season. He likes the look and feel and the features. Will see next ski season how well they hold up. Really likes the fingertip feature.

I wouldn't use the liners with the mittens unless you buy a size up from what you need. you can unzip the hand area of the mitten to put in hand warmers too.
