“I didn't expect a lot of these shorts at such a low price, so I wasn't disappointed. However, prospective purchasers should know that neither the fabric nor the design and construction are impressive; for example, they're shorter than most cargoes I've owned, and not only the cargo pockets but even the side slash pockets are oddly shallow (also, the web belt that comes with the shorts is a throwaway since the buckle doesn't hold). I've been using them as warm-weather shorts around the house, fine when gardening or mowing the lawn, and I'll also use them for hiking on hot days when my longer, somewhat heavier-weight shorts could be a little more than I want. -- They'd be okay at the beach, too, if you don't care about looking especially stylish.”
