I use a bit lighter boot with a pack under 30 pounds. I would recommend this boot with
packs over 25 pounds up to 60.
I think it takes a bit to break in in.
I like the fit. I am a pretty consistant fan
of New Balance and Dunham.

    These hikers wear like sneakers, they are a little clunky and a little ugly and I like em.
