No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought these for my son for field work. His feet are huge and generally look even bigger when he's wearing his work boots, but theses look better than his casual shoes. Not as bulky as most water proof steel toes and a wonderful change from those yellow-brown types that are usually the only thing that you can get if you wear anything larger than size 13. And,......the best part is that I could afford them. [...]

It's a good work boot, but it is a little hard to get on and off. Also it starts out a little too stiff. Takes awhile to break in.

I wear these to work and they are great! I work in a very large warehouse and the stability, comfort and especially the safety of the steel toe is really worth the cost of these shoes. As far as stain resistance I can only say I have been wearing them for 4 weeks and they look like new!

The boots seemed well made. The actual steel toe needed to be a bit wider to be comfortable. The last set of eyelets should have been the pinch style to help with snug lacing. Wish they would come in a shorter boot-don't need the 6 inch height.
