I bought these for hiking among the Mayan ruins.... I walked on them on concrete for 6 hours on the first day - and I am happy to report - no blisters!!! They aren't the greatest for concrete-walking. My feet felt like giant clodhoppers. I am sure they will be perfect for crawling around the ruins. Very good foot support shoes. These are amazingly light little boots for all the sturdiness.

I need a wide shoe and, although I purchased a D width, it still feels too narrow. I've worn them for about 10 mile hoping to break them in, but they are still not comfortable enough. I would return them if I could.
