A very light shoe with a super tough sole. My exodus 4's just simply wore out (a great shoe as well) and I decided to look into this lesser known brand (I had never heard of them). The vibram sole was a selling point, and does not disappoint. There is a lot of grip when moving forward so even on steep unstable descents this shoe holds the ground well. Pushing laterally is still good (like running down switch backs) but there isn't as much grip to not allow the shoe to not slide side-to-side; so just stay on top of the shoe and point the toes down hill. Rock guard on the toe is excellent. The instep flap is cool to shed splashes and rocks, though a little tough to tighten the shoe. If you have been running in less drop shoes (these are 12mm) then you will feel the added drop but it really isn't bad. I have a very neutral foot and can run in many different types of shoes and this shoe performs as advertised. A good price and STP. I will look to purchase another pair of shoes from Dynafit in the future.

I ordered one size larger as recommended and out of the box they were great!
The heel fit is one of the best I have had in a low cut shoe and the
vibram sole should make them last and give terrific grip on loose trails.
Very light weight.

I purchased theses a hslf size bigger than normal but felt they were still too small and I returned them. They look cool but we're stiffer than I prefer. I felt as if I was wearing a cycling shoe because of the minimal cushioning. I could have gotten a bigger size but chose to go with another shoe.
