Eagle Creek Continental Voyager 22 Duffel Bag - Rolling

Eagle Creek makes high quality bags. I had to send this bag back as it was a little smaller than expected. I was looking for just a tad more room. It would have been the 2nd Eagle Creek bag in our household but wasn't quite the right size. Too bad as the price was right.

I just purchased this duffle and will use it tomorrow for a 4-day trip to New Mexico. I bought this specific bag for 3 reasons: 1. The right size for carry-on as I refuse to pay extortionary baggage fees these days! 2. The simplicity of the bag - one big open space, with wheels and a plastic pull-up handle/steerer which both look to be quite strong. There are also a lot of straps to contain larger quantities, and cloth handles all around for ease of maneuvering the bag. 3. Eagle Creek brand quality - I have a backpack I've used steadily for 10 years, one small zipper just broke and REI sent it back to Eagle Creek to fix - not only did they replace that zipper, they replaced ALL the zippers, straps and plastic connectors, and it was all free, even shipping. I will ALWAYS pick Eagle Creek products in the future when there is a choice between equal products. High accolades for Eagle Creek!!!

good for rugged travel, very practical for plane, bus, whatever is thown at you

I do a lot of traveling, both foreign and domestic, and usually to the more austere places. I have found through experience that duffels work best for my clothing and field gear and to avoid gear that has multiple exterior pockets as they are susceptible to tearing and are more vulnerable to thieves. I have both the 22-inch and 30-inch Voyager Duffels. The larger duffel has been to three continents, a heavy dose of abuse, and still looks good. I anticipate many years of use. I just got the smaller duffel so I have a duffel that fits as carry-on for shorter trips.

Love it! Great Space, just wish there was a small outside pocket....but all good and would always recommend Eagle Creek.
