Eagle Creek Day Trek ES Pack

I have used this pack for a couple of years now. I have traveled many miles with it, and its still going strong. I put a change of clothing, cell phone and accesories, Ipod, snacks, and some other stuff in it when I fly. I use it as my carry on...Great Pack....

Pack is ok, but less than what I expected from Eagle Creek. Maybe that is why they are discontinuing it. The pack has very little padding on the straps and for the part that rests against your back. This makes it quite uncomfortable after anything but short hikes. The bag is also long, so it is not very good for pushing under an airline seat. I have an old Jansport Equinox and it is far better. I might just buy another one of those if EC does not come out with a much better replacement for this bag.
