Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Polly R from Seattle on Thursday, February 13, 2014I haven't used this suitcase yet on a trip, but it's got everything I want: pockets, zippers, ventilation, and enough room for a week's worth of clothes and supplies if you're not a total fashionista. (Frankly, I can't see going anywhere with a bag any bigger than this.) Hoping it qualifies as carry-on in the new air-travel police state, and hoping that it serves me for many years. One wheel feels a little grate-y, but for the price, I decided not to exchange.
Reviewed by D from Chicago on Wednesday, February 5, 2014I have another Eagle Creek roll-on; slightly smaller and without organizer pockets. They make great gear! This one is also light and very functional; the wheels are large and well-placed.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I haven't used it yet.
Reviewed by Traveler from UT on Friday, November 22, 2013I am an airline professional. I bought this bag because of Eagle Creek reputation and the low weight. The jacket strap is a worthless after thought. The extra bag attachment strap was too long and had to be cut. The clip for that strap became unsewn and it is now hard to fasten/unfasten the extra bag. When extra bag is attached access to exterior the pocket is impossible (pockets on the back of the bag would be better). After 3 months of use the handle and wheels still function fine. The interior of the bag is excellent and overall the right size for 3-4 days of travel. That said for my prefence I can hardly wait til it wears out so I can buy something different even if it weighs a couple more lbs.
Reviewed by Nomad Mom from North Carolina on Wednesday, October 30, 2013This suitcase is lightweight and Eqgle Creek have thought of several new conveniences to make your trip easier. The coat hook that comes out if the little zipper pocket and enables you to hook your coat onto the outside of the suitcase is especially convenient when embarking or disembarking the plane. I managed to fit clothes for a week in this piece without using the extra expansion. The handle is sturdy and has several positions.
Reviewed by Dan from New Hampshire on Saturday, July 13, 2013I had an Eagle Creek carry on bag from the days before wheeled suitcases came in smaller sizes. Lost it in a house fire a few years ago. Found something about this size in a yard sale shortly after the fire and have used it for 2-3 years, but I never really felt sure that it would survive any sort of rough handling so was delighted to see this bag. It arrived just in time for a trip to a nephew's wedding. I look forward to another decade or two with Eagle Creek.
