Eagle Creek ORV Gear Bag

Great Bag, just wish it was also carry-on size.

Eagle creek makes great luggage so we had to pick this one up because of the great price and nice medium size. Just got back from a college orientation and we carried it on during our outbound trip but checked it on the way home since it was full of things we had purchased. Held up nicely.

Bought mine for use on 7-10 day sailing trips. Liked it so much, bought one for the boat owner. He likes it enough that continued invitations to sailing trips are assured.

I've used this on 7-9 day trips overseas as well as weekend trips domestically. This is an incredibly well-made bag. While technically a very few inches over carry-on size for most airlines, it's been my experience that the compression straps bring it down enough in size to fit easily in most overhead bins (note that this is smaller than the 2008 model, which has a greater capacity). However, the bag has also survived check-in without damage. The backpack straps are a great feature; I use them exclusively once out of the airport. If you're a souvenir purchaser, you may find this capacity limiting, but I've done long trips with just this bag and a carry-on personal item - it's easily to pack efficiently.

This bag has a place for everything. I have ordered the pack it systems to go with it. Because it is so easy to organize, I arrived on my first trip with everything I needed.
